Roland Wauer
Roland "Ro" Wauer is retired from the National Park Service; he worked as an interpreter and/or resources specialist at Crater Lake, Death Valley, Zion, Big Bend, Great Smoky Mountains, and the Virgin Islands. He is the author of 25 books on nature and the national parks, plus an autobiography - "My Wild Life" - about his 32 years within the parks. His first love has been birds and butterflies. "Natural Inclination" is his first novel, taking advantage of his interest in nature and adventure. He lives in Bryan, Texas; his wife of 34 years - Betty - passed away in 2013.
