Jon Sadler
Jon Sadler, LCPC, is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the states of North Carolina and Maryland. He has lived with epilepsy for over 50 years, yet had a successful career in engineering until his seizures became intractable. His recovery from brain surgery took nine years and included becoming a mentor and earning a degree in counseling. His book "Weathering the Storms" provides information about epilepsy and the types of seizures, then what he learned about living with the unknowns and stigmas of seizures while being a husband, father, and engineer and being motivated by other people with disabilities to never give up. The book ends with information for the caregivers. His second book, "In the Midst of the Storms" is based on actual events and tells the story of recovery from traumatic situations that continue to occur. It is a gripping story that takes one into the past through present events.
