He was formerly the owner of Estopinal Surveying and Engineering, Inc., in Chalmette, Louisiana, and has been in the practice of land surveying for more than forty years. A columnist for Professional Surveyor magazine, he is a frequent lecturer on surveying matters and regularly serves as an expert witness.
