There are several Bahias within Bahia: the one from the Recôncavo, the one from the backlands, and many others that, with their different regions and faces, have in common the essential role of the cuisine that goes beyond being mere food: it expresses the joy of living and sharing of the Bahians, the communion with their saints, the multiple cultures and roots of their people, and many other aspects.
