After facing some tricky situations during the day, Dan comes to realize that dealing with feelings is not always an easy task. After school, almost ready to go to sleep, Dan hears a story from his grandfathe about their ancestors, the people that inhabit the banks of the Omo River, Ethiopia, which provokes in Dan a new whirlwind of feelings. In order to help kids understand it is normal to feel anger, joy, pride – sometimes all of it at the same time –, this book celebrates Dan’s ancestry and origins, creating an unique learning opportunity.
