The proposed book would be a cornerstone of Mercer’s three-year “Thrive” campaign, and will address the fact that most organizations understand the business case for engagement and diversity but get blindsided due to the systemic inequities and inflexible infrastructure in the existing organizational processes. Our aim is to share our recommendations for a systematic examination of the choke points populations face in thriving at work and the strategies that make a difference. We will share findings from our research and proprietary methodology for interventions in this book. The topic is of interest to a wide audience – from, the Board and senior business executives to front line supervisors and team leaders, from HR generalists to D&I practitioners - to anyone with an interested in building high performing teams and helping individuals achieve

Ilya Bonic (www.mercer.com; New York, NY) is the President of the Career global business solution at Mercer, a global consulting leader in talent, health, retirement, and investments. Ilya is a recognized thought leader on strategic people management issues.  He is passionate about diversity and inclusion and serves as a champion on Mercer’s internal networks and external advocacy groups.

Jacques Goulet  is President of Mercer's Retirement, Health, and Benefits business. Previously, he was the Retirement business leader for North America. Jacques joined Mercer in 1988 and has held various consulting and leadership positions over the last 23 years in Canada and Europe until his move to New York at the beginning of 2011. He has worked with clients in a number of industries including health care, transportation, technology and manufacturing providing advice on their global pension and benefit strategies.

Kate Bravery leads Mercer's Global Practices for the Career business. Her role involves supporting the business’ six professional practices; Talent Strategy, Mobility, Workforce Rewards, Executive Rewards, HR Transformation and Communication. She has over 20 years’ experience in the Human Capital field across 4 continents with deep expertise in Talent Strategy, Leadership Development and the design of integrated HRM solutions for many of Mercer’s global clients.
