ROBERT RACHLIN, BBA, MBA, is President of Robert Rachlin Associates and is an internationally known author, lecturer, and consultant in the area of financial management. He has spent over 40 years in planning and budgeting positions with such companies as Texaco, Gulf + Western, General Foods, SCM, and other well-known organizations. During those years Mr. Rachlin developed policies and procedures, financial reviews, board of directors' reports, pricing strategies, mergers and acquisitions, budgeting, planning, and overall financial assignments. Such financial topics presented to executives around the world include strategic budgeting, return on investment, capital-expenditure evaluation, inventory-control techniques, sales evaluation, basic financial management, and strategic management and have earned Mr. Rachlin a worldwide reputation. He has also served as Adjunct Associate Professor of Management at New York University, New York Institute of Technology and, currently, at Hofstra University.
