Galen Gruman and Barbara Assadi are co-authors of the several previous editions of this book. Gruman has covered and used publishing technology since 1986 in a variety of publications, including Macworld, InfoWorld, Magazine Design & Production, Publish, and Computerworld, while Assadi has managed corporate communication departments at several companies, including Pacific Mutual Life, Oracle, and Quark. Gruman is now West Coast bureau chief of Computerworld, and Assadi is a partner in AssadiHurty, an editorial/communications consultancy. Kelly Anton is a former QuarkXPress documentation manager who contributed to the QuarkXPress 4 Bible.
