She works nationally and internationally to provide support for instructionally focused, comprehensive school renewal. She has a background as a teacher on two Indian reservations, university professor, and Texas Title I technical assistance contact for the United States Department of Education. She is the coauthor of Diversity and Motivation from Jossey-Bass.
